How it works, from take-off to billing
The journey of a single flight through the system — from the moment the pilot leaves the ground to the charge on their account.

The pilot takes off
The crew heads out for a flight. Nothing needs to be started by hand. For gliders the start type is detected automatically, including pairing with the tow aircraft.

The flight is recorded
OGN/FLARM detects the take-off and landing and the flight appears in the Flight Log as in flight; a tow and its glider are paired automatically. Whoever keeps the log at the field can correct it or add a missed flight by hand.

The pilot completes and approves
After landing, the pilot fills in the remaining details — crew, task and times — for instance right from their phone at the airfield, and approves the flight.

The flight is billed
The billing system sums every applicable rule and posts all the payments — both charges and income, for example to instructors. No manual re-typing.
